Although cutting tools is our prime specialty it's not all we do. Tallentire Tooling can offer a massive range of products to cover your every need. Our portfolio also includes: measuring equipment, power tools and hand tools, CNC holders, diamond tooling, abrasives, coolants and oils, marking and identification concepts and machine tools (new and re-furbished). Please see the products and brands pages for further details. We are continually striving to cut the costs for our customers by introducing new concepts through continual improvement programmes. We also offer total commitment to improving existing troublesome applications and given the opportunity, we will look at any troublesome or costly application and put together a proposal to improve the application and also cut costs.
Our services don't just stop at the delivery of your goods either. We already offer many of our customers consignment management services. From manual systems, checked and reloaded by one of our operatives, to computerised vending machines like Toolvend which offers excellent automated resources for tracing your consumable usages.

Meet The Sales & Technical Team
Tony Render. Joined the Tallentire Tooling family in 1992, Tony has been associated with the local engineering distributor industry for over 30 years. With over 15 years at Tallentires, Tony has been able to witness the company grow, from an initial workforce of 2 to it's current level of 13 employees with an annual turnover in excess of £2 million.
David Ridley. Served his apprenticeship at Rolls Royce Aero Engineers then went on to further expand his engineering skills with various jobs in the North East area with Lucas Evode, Howard Rotavator and his last internal job at David Browns as Production Engineer. Dave then got his first sales position as an Area Engineer with global carbide manufacturer, Stellram. He was with them for 15 years and joined Tallentire Tooling in October 2004. The last five years being the most enjoyable of his career!
Kevin Walters. Joined Bonas Machine Co. as an Engineering Apprentice. After 20 years at Bonas (16 years as a Production Engineer), Kevin moved to Ward Hi Tech, a leading CNC machine tool supplier, as Area Sales Manager. He then moved into the world of cutting tools, with a small local engineering distributor, as Technical Director. After 10 years with the firm, Kevin left to join Mapal, a world leader in holemaking technology. He moved back into cutting tool distribution in 2007 with Tallentire Tooling. His best move to date!
